                                  Gods Forgiveness
                                 by Sisters With Voices Inc

Did you know that Unforgiveness is one of the number one reasons that
people do not receive their healing?

Heb 12:14
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man
 shall see the Lord:

Heb 12:15
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God;
lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many  be defiled;

The root of bitterness can cause diseases to manifest in your body, if
it is not dealt with. Forgiving ALL that has hurt you is the first step.

If you feel that your prayers are not being answered, please read these
scriptures and then search your heart to see if there is anyone in your past, or present that you have not forgiven.  If there is you must forgive them to start receiving the blessings of God.  The same way that God has forgiven us through grace (unmerited favor) (something we do not deserve) we also must do the same in forgiving others that have hurt us.

As we forgive a great peace will come over you and the stronghold that
has kept your prayers from being answered will be gone in the name of
Jesus. If this is hard for you call on the name of Jesus and He will teach you how.  He is always there, just call on Him and receive what He has for you.

Mat 5:44-48
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that
curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which
despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children
of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.  For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same?  And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans so?   Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Mat 6:12

forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
 NIV translation
NOTE IN THE SCRIPTURE ABOVE, JESUS SAID: FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS

Mat 6:14
for if you forgive men when they sin against you, your
heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Mat 6:15
But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not
forgive your sins. NIV translation
Mat 9:6 but so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on
earth to forgive sins. . . ." Then he said to the paralytic, "Get up, take your mat and go home."
Mat 9:7And the man got up and went home.
Mat 18:21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven
 times?"
Mat 18:22 Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but
 seventy-seven times.
Mat 18:23 "Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted
to settle accounts with his servants.
Mat 18:24 as he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him.
Mat 18:25 since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and
his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the
 debt.
Mat 18:26 "the servant fell on his knees before him.’Be patient with
me,' he begged, 'and I will pay back everything.'
Mat 18:27 the servant's master took pity on him, canceled the debt and
 let him go
Mat 18:28 "But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow
servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him. 'Pay back what you owe me!' he demanded.
Mat 18:29 "His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, 'Be
patient with me, and I will pay you back.'
Mat 18:30 "But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown
into prison until he could pay the debt.
Mat 18:31 when the other servants saw what had happened, they were
greatly distressed and went and told their master everything that had
 happened.
Mat 18:32 "Then the master called the servant in. 'You wicked servant,'
he said, 'I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to.
Mat 18:33 shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?'
Mat 18:34 in anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be
tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
Mat 18:35 "This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless
you forgive your brother from your heart."
Mark 11:25 and when you stand praying, if you hold anything against
anyone, forgive him, so that you’re Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."
We must forgive, it does not matter if the person receives your forgiveness, you have obeyed what God’s Word said. When you do
forgive, you will see all kind of blessings coming and you will see your prayers answered. Praise God
Luke 5:21 the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to
themselves, "Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"
Luke 5:24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on
earth to forgive sins. . . ." He said to the paralyzed man, "I tell
you,get up, take your mat and go home."
Luke 6:37 "Do not judge and you will not be judged. Do not condemn,
and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Luke 6:38 Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed
down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
Luke 11:4 forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins
against us. And lead us not into temptation.'"
Luke 17:3 so watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and
 if he repents, forgive him.
Luke 17:4 If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times
comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him."
Luke 23:34 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
As Jesus hung on the cross with nails in His hands and feet, and blood
running down His body, He said forgive them, for they do not know what
they are doing. What an example of unconditional love.
John 20:23 If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do
not forgive them, they are not forgiven."
Acts 8:22 Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he
will forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.
Acts 8:23 for I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin."
Simon was evil, he thought that he could buy the anointing of God and
make a profit. That is why the above scripture was spoken to Simon.
2 Cor 2:10 If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have
forgiven--if there was anything to forgive--I have forgiven in the
sight of Christ for your sake,
2 Cor 2:11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not
 unaware of his schemes.
Col 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may
have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Col 3:14 and over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all
 together in perfect unity.
Col 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members
of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Heb 8:12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their
 sins no more."
1 John 1:9 if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will
forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

As you see forgiving is one of the most important keys to having
 victory in your life.
All the blessings of God are for His children to have, but we have to
 be obedient to His Word.

Mat 6:33 but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all
these things will be given to you as well.
We have to seek the things of God and all things will be added to you.
We must learn what the Word says about us and believe it.  You cannot walk around with bitterness, hatred, and unforgiveness in your heart and expect to reap the things of God. Whatsoever you soweth you will reap.

Jesus was always forgiving and miracles always followed Him.
Below are some scriptures showing Jesus’ forgiving others.
Mat 9:2 some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."
Mat 9:5 which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say,
 'Get up and walk'?
Mat 9:6 but so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on
earth to forgive sins. . . ." Then he said to the paralytic, "Get up,
take your mat and go home."
Mat 12:31 and so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven
men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
Mat 12:32 anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be
forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be
forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Mark 4:11 He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been
given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in
 parables
Mark 4:12  so that, "'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and
ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be
 forgiven!'"
Luke 5:20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are
 forgiven."
Luke 7:47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven--for
she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."
Luke 7:48 Then Jesus said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
Rom 4:7 "Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Rom 4:8 blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him."
Eph 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each
other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Eph 5:1 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children
Eph 5:2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave
himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Col 2:13 when you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of
your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all
 our sins,
Col 2:14 having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that
was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing
 it to the cross.
Col 2:15 and having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a
public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
James 5:15 and the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person
well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be
 forgiven.
James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is
 powerful and effective.
1 John 2:12 I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been
forgiven on account of his name.

I know that sometimes your mind will try to convince you that you have
been hurt so bad, by many people and you did not deserve to be hurt,
so why should you forgive them.  When that thought comes to you just
remember what Jesus said as He hung on the cross with blood dripping
down. His body, and nails in His hands and feet. Jesus said through all that pain and agony, Father forgive them for they do not know what they
have done.
It is not about deserving to be forgiven; it is about being like Jesus and obeying His commandments.
Do not walk around with bitterness and hatred in your heart, because
you are the one that will suffer from the results of unforgiveness.
Put the past behind you and go forth in what God has called you to do.
Be the light (love) in this world, and let people see that light (love)
shining from within you, and out of you into the light of others, darkness has to flee.
If you remember this scripture it will help you to understand that it
is not people we are up against.
Eph 6:12 for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against
the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Mat 5:9 blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the
 children of God.
Rom 12:14 bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
Rom 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that
 weep.
Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God;
lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many
be defiled;

Pray this prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, I make a fresh commitment to You to live
in peace and harmony, not only with the other brothers and sisters of
the Body of Christ, but also with my friends, associates, neighbors
and family.

I let go of all bitterness and resentment, envy, strife and unkindness
in any form.  I give no place to the devil, in Jesus name.  Father
I ask that you forgive me now and I receive your forgiveness, by
 faith.

I ask you to forgive and release all those that have hurt me or
wronged me. I forgive and release them now, in Jesus’ name.
From this moment on, I purpose to walk in love, to seek peace, to live
in agreement, and to conduct myself toward others in a manner that is
pleasing to you. I know that I have right standing with you and your
ears are attentive to my prayers.

It is written in Your Word, that the love of God has been shed abroad
in my heart by the Holy Ghost who is given to me. I believe that love
flows forth into the lives of everyone I know, and I am filled with
and abound in the fruits of righteousness, which bring glory and honor
untoYou, Lord in Jesus' name. So be it! Amen

I pray Gods Blessings unto you
